Nokia Wireless Headset HS-26W

Keeping up with Sony Ericsson, Nokia has introduced the company's first wireless headset to make use of the latest iteration of the Bluetooth standard, version 2.0. Supporting both the Headset and Handsfree profile, the headset appears to be somewhat larger than Sony Ericsson's recently-unveiled HBH-610 at 66 x 22 x 20 mm, and is also a couple of grams heavier at 22 g.

Powered by a non-exchangeable 130 mAh NiMH battery, the HS-26W claims a battery life of up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 150 hours of standby time, and is expected to hit shelves some time in the fourth quarter of 2005. Further information concerning the expected pricing of the headset was not available at the time of press.
